‘Too brilliant to miss… two riotous hours of food, wine and impeccable comic timing’
The Great Aussie Bite, Sydney Opera House
‘5* rollercoaster entertainment’
Broadway Baby, Edinburgh Fringe 2015
The show starts as the audience wait to be seated and then hurtles along in a tour de force of fully immersive, highly improvised and site-specific comedy theatre. And with only a third of the show scripted, each show is unique… you truly can expect the unexpected!
‘Make no mistake, there is so much ad-libbing, improvisation, and magical moments here, that Faulty Towers is definitely a more than once must-dine experience. No two shows are alike.’ InDaily, Adelaide Fringe 2015
Born in Brisbane in 1997, Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is now performed around the world, all year round. Its return to Dubai comes during yet another packed schedule: 2016 includes return runs in Sydney Opera House, Raffles Singapore, Kenya, Europe and Scandinavia, as well as an on-going London West End residency that holds TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence 2015.
Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a loving tribute to Fawlty Towers, that most revered of BBC sitcoms written by John Cleese and Connie Booth; their original scripts are not used, and the sometimes-supposed mis-spelling of our show title is, in fact, on purpose.
It is produced by Interactive Theatre International (ITI), a company focused on producing and touring shows that are completely immersive and site-specific. ITI is owned by Imagination Workshop. Both companies’ output is at the light entertainment end of the spectrum, geared to audiences who wouldn’t normally go to a theatre. See more here.
‘A high-class show. Dining out has never been this entertaining.’ Herald Sun, Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2015
‘Hilarious… catch it before it leaves’ Best of Toronto, Sony Centre for the Performing Arts 2015
The cast for Dubai in March features Suzanna Hughes (Sybil), Rob Langston (Basil) and Ed Howells (Manuel) – all of them 5* review winners. Click here for performer biogs.
‘My cheeks actually hurt from laughing – fab night @thefaultytowers with some @TimeOutLondon crew as a TOTastemaker’ Rebecca Pate on Twitter, TimeOut London
'Basil, played by Rob Langston... so spot on [that] after a while you forget it's not actually John Cleese pivoting between the tables.' Cape Times, FNB Variété Festival, South Africa
‘Special mention must go to the actress playing Sybil, who never slips from her character, and whether it be singing to guests or checking her hair and makeup, she never loses the voice and characteristics made famous by Scales.’ WhatsOnStage, UK

‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is an uproariously funny five-star comedic feast. If laughter is indeed the best medicine then the show should be sponsored by Medicare.’ InDaily, Adelaide Fringe 2015
